Enter a brand, person, product, organization, place, or other entity, and the tool returns matching entity data from Google. Depending on the result, this can include Google’s entity ID, classification, description, website, image, and relevance score.
It’s useful for checking:
- Whether Google returns your brand as a distinct entity
- How it classifies your company or products
- Whether it might be confusing you with another entity
- How your entity results compare with those of competitors
One caveat: this is only a window into the data available through Google’s public API. It doesn’t reveal everything Google knows about an entity, and getting no result does not necessarily mean Google knows nothing about it.
