Last week, OpenAI released a new feature. You can now create transparent images in ChatGPT and through the API with GPT Image 2. This has been on my wish list for quite a long time, and it seems that a lot of people don’t know about it yet. So I thought I’d share.
The takeaway: You can generate transparent PNGs directly in ChatGPT with GPT Image 2, no background removal step needed.
